Nicola "Nick" L. Girimonte, who owned and operated with his younger brother a stylish men's clothing store in downtown Redding for four decades until it was sold in 1984, has died.
Girimonte died Dec. 12, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. He was 97. Girimonte was born in 1920 in Weed and raised in Dunsmuir. He partnered with his brother, Joe, to operate Girimonte's Men's Store as one of Redding's first Market Street merchants.
