This week brought news that Bank of America, which has had a presence in Ukiah for longer than most Mendocino County residents can remember, will be closing its branch at 501 S. State St. on Nov. 7, 2017, which is also Election Day.
Curious to see what I could locate on BofA’s arrival in Ukiah, I rummaged through our online archives at https:ukiah.newspaperarchive.com (putting in a few keywords and other known info, doing a search and then reading through the newspaper pages the database locates for me).
