
The Italian American Museum of Los Angeles seeks one, qualified undergraduate student, in the fields of History, Education, Social Science, or Museum Studies and other relevant areas of study, to serve as a summer intern funded by the Getty Grant Program.
The majority of the internship will take place at the IAMLA’s offices in downtown Los Angeles. Some off site work will be required, as will attendance at four Getty sponsored intern events. The intern’s primary assignment will be conducting historical research, cataloging artifacts, assisting with the preparation of exhibitions and educational materials. Intern will receive training cataloging of artifacts and archival materials as well as collections management, and will spend extensive time with the IAMLA’s collection.
