The Italian-American Club of Lacey will hold a 1940s-style Football Wedding at 6 p.m. May 5 at Lacey's Community Hall on Lacey Road and Route 9. The tradition arose from large family wedding receptions where attendees would toss deli sandwiches like footballs.
The Italian-American Club will serve traditional sandwiches, salads, wedding cake and have a wedding party with entertainment. Tickets are $16 per person and can be purchased by calling Kathy at 609-971-2807.
