Christopher Columbus was all the talk at Mamma Vittoria’s in Nutley. The 37th annual Nutley-Belleville Columbus Day Parade Committee recently gathered for a meet and greet with this year’s honorees. This year’s grand marshal is A.J. Buddy Fortunato, owner and publisher of The Italian Tribune Newspaper.

Other dignitaries include Lifetime Achievement Award honoree Gina Tamburri of Belleville, Italian Heritage Award recipient Francesca Roselli of Nutley and Italian Business Leader of the Year are Fino Vitagliano and Joseph Capasso of Bella Luce Restaurant in Nutley. Nutley woman and man of the year are Marie Solimo and Joseph Tesei. Belleville Woman and Man of the Year are Anne Jannicelli and Joseph Pizzi. This year’s renaissance men are Matthew Genitempo and Sal Scarpelli of Nutley.
