
Judge David A. Regoli was sworn-in as Judge of the Westmoreland County Court of Common Pleas on July 21, 2014. He was nominated to the Bench by Governor Tom Corbett on June 20, 2014 and unanimously confirmed by the Senate of Pennsylvania on June 30, 2014. Judge Regoli is a life-long resident of Westmoreland County. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Natrona Heights in 1983. He then went to Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona and graduated with a B.A. degree in Public Communication in 1988. Judge Regoli decided to pursue his long time ambition and enrolled in law school at Ohio Northern University, Petitt College of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1991.
In his first job as an attorney, Judge Regoli served as a Judicial Law Clerk from 1991 - 1992 for the Honorable Paul Zavarella, President Judge of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. He was fortunate to receive the guidance and wisdom of Judge Zavarella while working as a law clerk. During that period, Judge Regoli first envisioned serving as a trial judge after a career as an attorney.
