
Stevenson University launches its 2013: Year of Italian Culture in the United States cultural celebration with the photo exhibition, "Little Italy, Un Cuore Grande (A Mighty Heart)," featuring the work of Baltimore-based photographer Harry Connolly. The exhibition showcases Connolly's 16-year endeavor to capture and document the story, people, and personalities of Baltimore's historic Little Italy neighborhood.
The exhibition will run August 26 through November 23 in the St. Paul Companies Pavilion located on Stevenson University's Greenspring campus, 1525 Greenspring Valley Road, Stevenson, MD 21153. It is open to the public Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.: Thursdays, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.: and Saturdays, 1-4 p.m. A public reception will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 6-8 p.m., and an art talk will be held on Tuesday, October 5 at noon, both in the Pavilion. The events are free and the community is invited to attend.
