To escalate safety and security within Baltimore's Little Italy, neighborhood leaders have heralded the inception of a new network of surveillance cameras. According to WMAR2 News, these cameras have been strategically mounted and linked to a centralized hub, designed to be easily accessible to local law enforcement and the community to bolster the neighborhood's security infrastructure.

Lisa Regnante, the Little Italy Neighborhood Association president, underscored the significance of the new system's geographical benefits. "Our intersections on all four sides of our neighborhood are gateways," she said, per WMAR2 News. She also noted that this setup is critical for monitoring occurrences within Little Italy and capturing activities that transit through the area.
