Jersey City's Downtown was awash in green, red and white for the fifth annual Columbus Day Parade today.
Leading the celebration of Italian heritage Saturday was TLC star Buddy 'Cake Boss' Valastro, who was the parade's grand marshal.
"I'm honored to be here," Valastro said, who was accompanied at the head of the parade by his son, Marco, 7. "Beside being Italian and being proud of the heritage of Christopher Columbus, I'm just really proud to be a son of Hudson County," Valastro added.
