For the first time in more than two decades, the Philadelphia Music Alliance (PMA) hosted a stellar evening gala to celebrate its newest group of inductees on the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame. It was held at The Fillmore Philadelphia on October 26, 2015.
At the induction ceremony that took place during the day on the Avenue of the Arts in front of The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, two special awards were also presented. The Platinum Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Philadelphia Music Community was given to Frank Giordano, President and CEO of The Philly POPS and past chairman of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra.
