Hershey Area Playhouse announces auditions for John Patrick Shanley's Italian American Reconciliation, a comic look at life and love to usher in spring. Dubbed "a fanciful, lighthearted and zestfully comic exploration of male and female relationships" this award-winning play follows the story of Huey Maximilian Bonfigliano.
Huey has a problem: While he is safely divorced from his first wife, Janice, who shot his dog and even took a bead on him, he feels he cannot regain his "manhood" until he woos and wins her one more time, so he enlists his best friend Aldo's help and in a scene reminiscent of Cyrano, the pair work together to woo Janice, much to his new girlfriend Teresa's dismay.
