With the 41st annual West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival set to begin Friday morning, board members spent Thursday evening honoring individuals who have made an impact in their communities. The West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival’s annual Honorees Banquet was held at Bridgeport Conference Center to recognize the Italian American Man and Woman of the Year, the Honorary Italian Man and Woman of the Year, the Mother and Father of the Year, the Excellence in Education award winner and the parade grand marshal.
