Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour, a five-day cinephile festival, is scheduled to start on March 5, 2025, and run through March 9, 2025. The event is organized by the Italian Program and the Program in Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. The Festival co sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute of Washington and presented in partnership with the Bologna Film Archive, Italy (Cineteca di Bologna), AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center, and the National Gallery of Art.

At University of Maryland the Festival is supported by the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, The Center for Literary and Comparative Studies, the Department of French and Italian, and the Department of German Studies.
