
The Italian American Club of Olyphant (PA) will host a fundraiser to benefit Marc “Pooker” Cortazar, a member of the club, who is battling gall bladder and liver cancer. The fundraiser is a cornhole torunament, set to begin at noon on Sunday, July 27 at teh Italian American Club, corner of East Scott Street and South Valley Avenue in Olyphant. Entance fee is $50 per team.
“Bring your friends and family to the Cornhole Tournament at the IAC for 50/50 tickets, raffle baskets, food and live entertainment,” organizer Courtney Stankiewicz said. Montetary donations also will be accepted for Cortazar. For additional information, check out “Party for Pooker” on Facebook.
