
The Italian American Club in Scotch Plains marked its 110th anniversary on Saturday, June 4, with a celebration that included a former governor, two mayors, and scores of community leaders.
The club is a private non-profit organization established by immigrants primarily from the small village of Montazzoli in the Abruzzi region of Italy. Club members continue to maintain strong ties with the region and the Old World family values characterized by hard work, love, family and a celebration of life.
