L’Infiorata, a Show of Flowers: The Infiorata carpets of flowers created for the feast of Corpus Domini throughout Italy, are ephemeral creations experienced for only one day of the year. In her presentation, artist Maria G. Pisano will showcase the participants’ preparation of the design and flowers, and talk about the devotion of the participating communities.
