The Nutley- Belleville Columbus Day Parade and Italian Heritage Committee held their 40th Anniversary Honoree Dinner at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville on Sept. 21. The Parade kicks off at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9 at Belleville High School and concludes at the Nutley Park Oval on Franklin Avenue.
Before the parade, at 9 a.m. there will be a Flag-Raising Ceremony at Belleville Town Hall, 152 Washington Ave. and a wreath laying at 11 a.m. at the Nutley Municipal Building, 1 Kennedy Drive. The parade line up will be at Belleville High School at noon. At 1:30 p.m., participants will march west on Joralemon Street then proceed to Franklin Avenue heading North to the viewing stand at John H. Walker Middle School in Nutley.
