
Michael Delconte, 87, a life resident of Hughestown, passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Tiffany Court, Kingston. Born in Hughestown on April 8, 1933, he was a son of the late James Delconte and Rose Orlando Colangelo Delconte.
Michael was a graduate of Pittston High School, Class of 1951. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict and received an honorable discharge from the Army in 1961. He was employed by Tobyhanna Army Depot for over 34 years, retiring as branch chief. After retirement, he volunteered at the Pittston Senior Center and delivered medication for Rite Aid pharmacy.
