The Miss Italia USA Scholarship Organization is excited to receive nominations for the first national competition seeking an “Honored Italian Citizen of the USA.”   The Miss Italia USA Scholarship Pageant will take place in Atlantic City, New Jersey in August of this year.  The winner of the competition will be honored either via satellite or in person at the pageant.  

The requirements for all nominations are: Nominees must be of Italian descent. Nominees must live in the United States. Nominees must have done something significant in the United States. Must pay a $50 entry fee. Pay via Paypal on our website at www.missitaliausa.org.   

Please note that the significant activity of your nominee does not have to be something done nationwide, it could be something they did locally or statewide as well.  The purpose of this competition is to showcase the accomplishments of Italian Americans in the United States, not just nationwide.  Italian Americans are at their best when they are contributing and helping in their own communities.  No accomplishment is too big or small.  

Please send us a summary listing the accomplishments of your nominee.  Summaries must be at least one page, but no more than 3 pages.  All nominations are due by June 1, 2017.  Competition is open to all citizens of Italian descent, not limited to just females.  Nominations should be emailed to:  rocco@missitaliausa.org.  The “Honored Italian Citizen of the USA” Nomination Committee will review all entries and notify the honored recipient by August 1, 2017.  All proceeds from this competition will go to the Miss Italia USA Scholarship fund.
