L' Hoboken Italian Festival, è un grande evento italo-americano come Festival nel New Jersey festeggia oggi 86 anni, sono le tradizioni tramandate di una festa patronale nata in Italia, a Molfetta, che è ha oltre 600 anni.

The festival occurs yearly, the weekend after Labor Day, for 4 days at beautiful Sinatra Park, on the historic waterfront of Hoboken, NJ. Il festival si verifica ogni anno, il week-end dopo il Labor Day, per 4 giorni sul bel lungomare storico di Hoboken Nj, nel Sinatra Park.

The highlight of the feast, beyond the fabulous variety of foods and entertainment, is the day long procession of the Madonna dei Martiri through the streets of Hoboken, including a pain staking reenactment of the "Blessing of the Fleet" in the Hudson River, all culminating with a huge fireworks extravaganza over the park.

Il clou della festa, al di là della varietà favolosa di alimenti italiani e di intrattenimento musicale, è la processione della Madonna dei Martiri per le strade di Hoboken, importante è anche quando l'imbarcazione della Madonna si sofferma nel fiume Hudson per ricordare la tragedia delle Twin-Tower con una preghiera e lanciando in mare una corona di fiori.

Sinatra Park, named after Hoboken's favorite son, Frank Sinatra, is where On The Waterfront was filmed in 1954.
