The Plainfields' Chapter of UNICO celebrated a successful concert at Sacred Heart Church with the Orchestra of St. Peter by the Sea featuring Broadway hits, pop standards and Italian classical compositions and favorites to a delighted audience of more than 400 on a beautiful Spring day.
The orchestra was led by their conductor, Chaplain (Brigadier General) Alphonse Stephenson, who recently was awarded the Civis Illustris Award by UNICO National for achievement and contribution in the arts and sciences to benefit humanity.
