If you have traveled around the City of Erie, you may have seen the signs already up for the upcoming virtual Italian Festival in Erie. The long-standing tradition at Saint Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Erie's Little Italy section, is a days-long event featuring homemade Italian food and pastries, a big basket raffle, Italian music and more.
Deacon Tony Alleruzzo previously told Erie News Now of the plan to turn the fest virtual, with decisions still being made. Now, a detailed plan is in place. It includes Sunday mass with Bishop Lawrence Persico presiding over it, to go on. Masks will be required.
