The sun was shining and the crowd seemed in a festive mood last Sunday, June 7, at the Sixth Annual Italian American Heritage Festival in Rose Tree Park, Upper Providence. The Coalition of Italian American Organizations of Delaware County (CIAO Delco) and Eventfully Yours combined forces to create an event to celebrate Italian culture and share it with the community.
Each year on the first Sunday in June, thousands of individuals and families from the tri-state area descend upon Delaware County's Rose Tree Park for the annual event and this year was no exception. From the very old to the very young, multiple generations shared Italian food, music, dance and more.
