The Gloucester County Italian Heritage Commission announced that the 12th annual Italian Heritage Festival of Gloucester County will be held on Oct.4, rain or shine, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the grounds of the Riverwinds Community Center in West Deptford. The planning committee estimates attendance of 8,000-10,000 people from throughout the tri-state area.

Fashioned after an Italian street fair, the Italian Heritage Festival promises a day of family fun and a great opportunity to experience authentic Italian culture, with entertainment featuring the likes of La Fata Italiana (the Italian Fairy), a favorite of "kids" of all ages and more.
