Local businessman and philanthropist Frank Guaracini Jr. passed away peacefully at his home here Tuesday morning, according to his family. Guaracini was 65. His son, Frank Guaracini III, said funeral plans for his father are incomplete. He would have celebrated his 66th birthday next week and was looking forward to the birth of a grandson in April, his son said.
“I would underscore that he was beyond generous to the community and to people in need,” Frank Guaracini III said. “Through the supermarkets, providing food to people that couldn’t get a meal. Donating food to various organizations, Salvation Army.
