
Sgt. Jerry Onnembo of the Wood-Ridge Police Department is helping to provide a way for members of the community to donate for earthquake relief in Italy.
An earthquake hit Central Italy on Aug. 24 with the death toll at almost 300 as of press time. In addition to being a sergeant in the Wood-Ridge Police Department, Onnembo is also the vice president of the Italian-American Police Society of New Jersey.
