History Press, a traditional book publisher of local and regional history, has contacted the Promotion Center for Little Italy in the hopes of finding a writer who is an integral part of the Little Italy community to pen a book on the history of the neighborhood. They seek an historian/author and are open to first-time authors.
"Hopefully we'll find the perfect author to tell the story of Italian Baltimore!" said Hannah Cassilly, Senior Commissioning Editor for Maryland. History Press would bear the cost of editing, producing, and printing the books, and pays author royalties. For more information on this publisher, visit their website historypress.net or contact Hannah Cassilly at hannah.cassilly@historypress.net.
