Selected Readings of Italian Short Stories in English Translation performed and translated by Lawrence Garner
Lawrence Garner has been performing on the stages of Chicago theatres for more than 20 years, a "second career" preceded by a 20-year "first career" as lecturer in political science at DePaulUniversity. He has translated 3 books from Italian and was a major contributor to "Italville", (Exile Editions, 2005) a translation of contemporary Italian literature sponsored by the Italian Cultural Institute.
