Well over a dozen framed paintings in oils and acrylics and other mediums were spread throughout the Baggio home in Prospect Heights. On chairs, a stairway, couches and the walls. The family of artists — two brothers, one brother's wife and three of their daughters — open a month-long art show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 4 at Midwest Care Center, 2050 Claire Court in Glenview.
An open house exhibit is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. April 10, but requires an RSVP by April 6 to baggiographics@comcast.net. Titled "Soulful Journeys," the show features the Baggios' paintings and sculptures, inspired by their heritage and experiences in Italy and South America.
