The Comitati degli Italiani residenti all'estero (COMITES) of Detroit, held its Board Meeting on Saturday, November 12th, at the COMITES' Office located in Shelby Township. Many agenda items were discussed regarding culture, Italian language, and many other topics that affect Italian citizens who live in North America.
COMITES of Detroit represents the states of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. A very important item that was discussed is the Referendum vote to be held on December 4, 2016. Though COMITES does not have a position on how you should vote, it strongly encourages that those eligible make certain to VOTE! It is your right.
