
The Italian Business and Professional Association will honor five successful Kenosha residents of Italian descent at its annual banquet this month.
Rose Marie "Cookie" DelConte, Louise Mattioli, Dr. John Rende and Dr. James and Geraldine "Geri" Santarelli will be honored at the event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Italian American Club, 2217 52nd St.
In addition, the group's 2013 scholarship winners will be honored. Benjamin Ambrosini, Maria Patrizzi and Domenic Savaglio will each receive $1,000 awards.
