The Italian American Cultural Society (IACS) proudly announces the construction of its new Clubhouse, a long-cherished dream that is now becoming a reality. More than just a building, this Clubhouse will serve as a vibrant home where Italian culture thrives, traditions continue, and future generations come together to celebrate their heritage.

"I am so proud as your President of the Italian American Cultural Society to share some exciting news," said Giovanni LoIacono, IACS President. "Our vision for a new Society Clubhouse has been years in the making. As a dream of Ramo Salerno, my Board and I have worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality.

Thank you to my Building Committee—Massimo D’Aristotile, Giovanni Maniaci, and Mark Garagiola—and to the Board members who have helped bring this vision to life. The Clubhouse will serve our members and future generations as a place to celebrate our Italian American heritage."

The new IACS Clubhouse will be a state-of-the-art facility, thoughtfully designed to enhance the cultural and social experience of its members. "Our new center will include Italian language classrooms, modern meeting and conference spaces, indoor bocce courts, a café with a traditional pizza oven, and beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering," LoIacono added.

With the new Clubhouse, the IACS will be able to "expand cultural events, strengthen business connections, and create opportunities for camaraderie among members. It will be a space where tradition meets the future—one we can all take pride in," said Massimo D’Aristotile, Building Committee Chairman. "Our vision is becoming a reality, and the Clubhouse construction is moving full steam ahead! Every step of this project has been carefully planned to be cost-effective while ensuring lasting value."

Vice President Tommy Salvati reflected on the significance of this milestone, sharing his personal connection: "For me, the IACS has always been a second home. Growing up, I spent countless hours at our old location in Warren, surrounded by the sounds, the flavors, and the values of our Italian heritage. Now, as a father, I take great pride in passing these traditions down to my own children and ensuring that families for generations to come have a place to celebrate their roots."

Construction is well underway, with the goal of completing the project by late summer. "This new home for the IACS is not just about bricks and mortar—it’s about people. It’s about a place where laughter will echo during celebrations, where friendships will deepen over shared meals, and where future generations will discover the beauty of their Italian roots," D’Aristotile emphasized.

The IACS extends its sincere gratitude to Mauro Engineering and Jonna Construction for their expertise and commitment to bringing this project to life.

To celebrate this exciting milestone, the IACS invites the community to its Gala on April 11, 2025, at the IACS. This special evening will highlight the progress of the new Clubhouse and offer an opportunity for members and supporters to be a part of history. "Hope to see you soon at one of our future events," said President LoIacono.
