The Italian Club of Benld will host the 66th Annual Italian-American Days Festival May 24-27 at the Benld City Park 30 miles northeast of Alton. The weekend begins with the park opening at 4 p.m. Friday, May 24. Swyear Amusements will offer carnival armbands 6-10 p.m. for $22 and the OWLZ band will perform 6:30-10:30 p.m. The park will reopen at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 25 with $2 carnival rides 4-10 p.m. Music will be provided by the Avery Hill 6:30-10:30 p.m.

The main day of the festival is Sunday, May 28, with one tone of free spaghetti served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the park’s lunch stand. Musical entertainment will include Bagna Caulda Combo 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Agent 99 2-6 p.m. and Smash 6:30-10:30 p.m. Carnival armbands will be available for $22 noon to 4 p.m. Registration for the bocci ball tournament starts at 11 a.m. with play at noon.
