If anyone went home hungry after the 8th annual Festa Italiana Oct. 1, they didn't celebrate correctly. The Italian American Veterans Post 1, located at 4567 Oberlin Ave. in Lorain, held its yearly Italian Festival with music, recognition and all the food anyone could imagine.

The festival brought live entertainment such as Joe Marotta on the accordion and the Avanti Italian American Band from Cleveland. Later on, Al Battistelli performed for the audience, which was a packed house. On top of all of that, there also was multiple raffles and baked goods for sale.
