Jan Giuffre Sables admits that at one time she thought the 125-year-old Italian-made nativity set she received when her father died was "pretty generic."

The scene representing the birth of Jesus, created in 1890 in a town in southern Italy, has what one might expect: figures of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, plus animals and wise men looking on in wonder.
