The Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a dinner and charity casino gala on Oct. 19 at Porretta’s Banquets in Chicago. Tickets for the black-tie optional event are $175 and include an open bar. A highlight of the evening will be a cash raffle drawing with a grand prize of $25,000. Raffle tickets are $100 and can be purchased in advance.
The winner need not be present. The chairman of the gala is Dominic Stramaglia of Supreme Lobster. “Together may we continue for another 25 years this wonderful heritage that is the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii,” Shrine Rector the Rev. Richard Fragomeni proclaims. (312-421-3757, ourladyofpompeii.org)
