
State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro is proudly celebrating a new law she chief co-sponsored in the Illinois House that designates the month of October as Italian-American Heritage Month. The law, which will go into effect in October 2024, aims to recognize and celebrate the significant contributions and achievements of Italian-Americans throughout American history and culture.
In expressing her enthusiasm for the law, Representative Sanalitro stated, "It fills me with immense pride to witness the acknowledgment of Italian-American heritage in our state. This month will not just be a celebration of our past, but an inspiration for future generations of Italian-Americans to continue enriching Illinois."
