State Rep. Peter Lucido on March 17 presented a special state tribute to the family of the late Steve Messina of Shelby Township.

"It was a tremendous honor for me to present a special tribute to the Messina family in honor of Steve Messina, who passed away late in 2014," Lucido said. "Steve was one of the most community-minded people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting."
