U.S. Pizza Museum sets up shop at Logan Square's Whistler

There's a museum for pizza? You bet. Sort of. The U.S. Pizza Museum doesn't have a permanent physical home, but you can see items from its collection online and in pop-up exhibitions like the one at Whistler Storefront Gallery in Logan Square.

The exhibit focuses on pizza pop culture and Logan Square pizzerias. Artifacts include video games about pizza, ShowBiz Pizza Place memorabilia, pizza-themed vinyl records and stuffed animals of retired pizzeria mascots. An opening party launches the show, with free pizza from Father & Son Restaurant, while supplies last, and entertainment by Chicago rapper and pizza enthusiast ShowYouSuck and DJ Charlie Coffeen of the band Sidewalk Chalk.
