May 1's Italian Fest in Gurnee offers everything you can find in Italy without leaving the country. The fest offers a delicious menu including Italian favorites such as spaghetti, with marinara or meat sauce, a secret recipe of tossed salad, rolls covered in herbs and spices and for dessert, complimentary coffee and brownies.

Even the music is set to the food so that it complements the Italian ambiance of the evening. "The music has an Italian flavor to it and we will perform it as the guests are finishing up dinner with dessert. We'll be playing songs like 'That's Amore', pieces that have been popular throughout the years."
