This is in regard to the yearly choir of protesters seeking to violate some people's constitutional rights with their hatred of the Italian American custom of honoring a great man and an explorer, Christopher Columbus, and displaying their usual show of ignorance. Exploration by cultures from other parts of the world was coming whether it was Christopher Columbus or others.

If they are so intent on creating an Indigenous People's Day, it would be a great idea. Let the Cinco de Mayo day become an Indigenous People's Day to be celebrated across the nation. Why do people have to be racist and commit prejudicial acts against other people's constitutional rights? Columbus didn't cause the death of millions; it was the U.S. government, the massive colonization of the West, and greed for land by later peoples that changed the American continents.
