This weekend marks the 10th annual Columbus Day Artisans festival at the Grange Hall in West Tisbury. The festival, which is an extension of the biweekly markets that take place in the summer, will run from 10 am to 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Guests can watch demonstrations and shop for weaving, furniture, pottery, leather goods, paintings, mixed media, sculpture, photography, books, and more. The Artisans Festival website says the highlights this season, including knit fall scarves and sweaters and Island-made jewelry, make this event a perfect holiday shopping opportunity. Stands will be set up indoors and outdoors, rain or shine. The event will be catered by Peter and Debra Koines of Little Rock Farm. Parking and admission is free.
