Batali cooks up culinary treasures in new book

American chef Mario Batali shares the ingredients to a good book in a 1 p.m. Writers on a New England Stage program Sunday at The Music Hall, 28 Chestnut St.

He will share details from "Mario Batali Big American Cookbook: 250 Favorite Recipes from across the USA," which features tasty recipes from San Diego fish tacos to Boston cream pie. It's a celebration of the culinary treasures of state fairs, local rotary clubs and immigrant communities.
