The Consulate General of Italy's third annual "Achievement Awards" ceremony took place at the Museum of Fine Arts on Thursday, May 2.
Bostoniano founder Nicola Orichuia received the "Giovane Promessa" (Promising Youth) award for his work on Bostoniano.info (launched in January 2011) and Bostoniano magazine (launched in January 2013).
Several other awards were given out at the ceremony that took place in the exhibit space currently hosting masterpiece drawings from Michelangelo Buonarroti.
The "Solidarity Award" was given to Catherine D'Amato, President and CEO of the The Greater Boston Food Bank, which under her leadership has become a nearly $60 million charitable business providing meals to more than 500 member hunger-relief agencies.
