
Anne L. Campana, 94, a proud American of Italian descent and a native to Williamsburg, died Friday, April 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Campana Sr.; and sons, Dr. Robert A. Campana and Ronald A. Campana; two brothers, Anthony and John Zullo; and sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Edward Welch.
She is survived by her sons, Dr. Richard Campana (Galina), Skip Campana (Colleen) and J.C. Pierce; social liberator, Ms. Georgeanna Poling; ‘newest daughter,’ Elena Ramos; grandchildren, Ron Jr. (Caley), Rachel (Dan Smith), Vincent III, Elise, Megan, Juliet, Richard and Brittain; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Calvin; and very special friend, Mrs. Betty Campbell; sister, ‘Dr.’ Francesca Hess (Wayne) of Larens, N.Y.; brother, Leonard Zullo (Lee) of Naples, Fla.; large, extended family of nephews and nieces, including Donna and Bill, who stood the watch over her last days; and Tom, who supplied her with a plethora of lottery tickets.
