On the occasion of the fifth centenary of the publication of the Orlando Furioso, the City University of New York and New York University in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute and the Columbia University, Department of Italian, are organizing an international symposium attended by eminent scholars, both Italian and American, on the relevance of the poem in the literary history and as a source of inspiration for visual arts and music.
