Upset you can't do your usual Arthur Avenue run in light of the coronavirus? No worries. Many of the local shops in the Belmont Business Improvement District (BID) also known as the “Little Italy in the Bronx” are currently operating for curbside pick-up, takeout, delivery and mail-order shipping, with many featuring Easter specials. Here's where you can fill your craving (and keep up your holiday traditions) with pizza rustica, spaghetti pie and Easter bread (among other things).
Gino’s Pastry Shop: You crave it, Gino's can ship it. The family-owned shop, in business for 60 years, has plenty of frozen cheesecakes, pastries, cannoli cream, shells, and more. Curbside pickup and takeout are also available. Second-generation owner Jerome Raguso, who each year makes the Sicilian delicacy of hand-painted marzipan lamb, has that, too.
