
Giacomo Puccini, the man behind "Tosca," "La Boheme" and other beloved works in the opera repertoire, will be the first-ever Italian composer to be showcased in the Bard Music Festival at Bard College in Annandale-On-Hudson.
Scheduled for Friday, Aug. 5, through Sunday, Aug. 14, "Giacomo Puccini and His World" will include 11 concerts as well as panels, lectures and other explorations into the life and work of Puccini and his contemporaries.
