Town residents and officials will celebrate Italian-American culture during the 33rd annual Columbus Day parade Monday. The parade leaves the Bethel Food Market at 8:45 a.m. and continues down South Street and Greenwood Avenue.
Viewers will gather at P.T. Barnum Square, where the parade vehicles will park at 9 a.m. for presentations. Costumed characters will include Columbus, played by Rich Zuvich, and Queen Isabella, played by Gina Clarizo. Musician Billy Michael will perform. For more information, call 203-743-2456.
