The 57th annual Columbus Day Tournament of Bands Parade and Italian Festival is around the corner, and the City of Binghamton announced key details at an event Friday morning.

"[The event] allows the city to showcase our wonderful downtown to the entire region," said Binghamton Mayor Rich David, "It's a fun day seeing bands from high schools across the region compete with one another, and it's a real fun family oriented atmosphere."
